Can I file bankruptcy with a court summons?
I have a debt that is listed in my bankruptcy, however it isn’t filed yet, and I don’t have a case number. Can I still put this debt in the bankruptcy and get it taken care of even though I have a court summons for small claims?
I haven’t been to court yet to recieve a judgement.

I don’t know where the first person got their info but they are wrong… (probably a bill collector). You can add anything into your bankruptcy, when I did it the cost was $30 to add documents to the case. Whether it is chapter 13 or 7, you are able to include any bills that you did not remember when you filed. Do you have an attorney, I dislike them, but when you are doing a 13 they are helpful, but you can do them by yourself. Good luck, and if you do not get it added before your court date with small claims, just go to the court, explain that you are adding it to your bankruptcy. They will probably continue it until you can bring in documentation that you need from the bankruptcy court.
