Has anyone filed bankruptcy with a do it yourself kit?

I recently filed for bankruptcy and paid a lawyer $1000 – BIG MISTAKE. It is very easy to fill out and file the paperwork yourself. If I'd know how little actual work is involved in filing for bankruptcy I never would have done it. The lawyer did pretty much nothing, but mail in the forms that I filled out… waste of money…
