How much wil it cost for me to file bankruptcy in NJ?

I am recently unemployed and am about to be sued by one of my creditors and am inquiring about bankruptcy protection. Also is there a way I can keep my car if I continue to make the payments?

    Go grab your car keys.
Get a book from your bookstore on bankruptcy.
They will have one specifically for your state.
You have a lot to learn – spend about 3 hours reading it before considering bankruptcy.

There is also an government non-profit organization that can help you with your creditors.
    National Foundation for Credit Councelling.
    NFCC.org
Call the 800 number and make an appointment at your local office.
They will be honest with you and tell you if bankruptcy is the only answer.
    Review call them angels.
    No charge to you.
Their excellent DMP program costs about $25 a month – but only if you can afford it.

Run from scam companies if you spot any.
There are many that will try to immitate and rob you to death.
