How would a "national health care" system work without going bankrupt?

What are the projections for such a system? What contributions would all recipients of health insurance be required to make? How would costs be controlled without rationing?

Any information would be helpful. thanks.

Simply put there is only one way it would be able to avoid going bankrupt, rationing. There would have to be limits on the cost of the care you receive. As was presented in the old "Hillary Care" proposal of the Clinton years, there will be an "lifetime limit" on how much any single person can receive in lifetime. If you hit that limit, I guess they just roll you out of the hospital and dump you in the street.

It won’t work as has been demonstrated in many countries.. For the specifics you ask for nobody knows. Getting info from the Obama admin is like pulling teeth.

I for one don’t trust any of our Gov. to run anything…look at the mess we are in right now for God’s sake. I’m against the Gov. getting into the health care area.

It wouldn’t. It’s been proven over and over. And what’s worse will be the quality of care.
