The lawyer needs to know the family income to determine which type of bankruptcy to file.

You do not have to file together but they need to know the family income.

If you make over a certain amount you have to file Chapter 13 and if you don’t you can file Chapter 7.

BTW your husband sounds like a REAL winner, real supportive!!!

depends, if it under your name, No (wont hurt him), if both on the paper etc…yes, will hurt you and him…

The answer might depend on whether you live in a community property state or not.

Ask your lawyer – you’ll get a better answer than you will here.

Did you have these bills before you got married? Or did you make these bills while you were married. If you made the bills while you were married and whether or not you are in a community property state; your husband is also liable for the debt.
