Is there a company that I can hire to help me settle my debt?
I have a few bills in collections and I was just curious if there was a company that I could hire to help me find who I owe money to and I pay through the company.
I would try to settle these myself but its hard to do when you work overseas and dont have readily access to a telephone.
There are many companies but I strongly recommend you do it on your own. Not only will you save lots of money in fees (which incidentally you pay monthly in the beginning, thereby hampering your efforts to save sufficient settlement funds), but you have more control, and Debt Settlement companies don’t always do what’s in your best interests.
If you decide to do it yourself, arm yourself with a lot of research, and make sure you have a "thick skin".

First, that is not what settling means.
Second, there are companies that you can pay to settle your debt. You do the research to find out who is owed money by you. You pay the company to negotiate a lower amount of money for you to pay. However, the State of California investigated and found that these companies just take your money and do not reduce or settle your debts.
