RE: BK– hav people ever known they WERE going 2 file Bankruptcy & thus/then Intentionally spent $ ?
& Bought/Purchased stuff they KNEW they WOULDN’t pay back..?? & if so is this illegal..?? it has to be, right? have people ever been busted for it is guess is my biggest question, seems like it could be a serious crime if busted for it & no I am not doing this myself! please dont reply unless U really understand the question bein asked… TYVM!
When you file bankruptcy and ask for the debt to be wiped out completely…..you don’t get to keep your toys. You have to detail your assets and your assets get liquidated (sold) to pay your debts.

If you do so with the intent to file, a creditor can challenge the discharge of the debt owed or even your right to discharge any debt. If you obtained the debt knowing that you could not repay it, you may not be able to discharge that debt if the creditor challenges it through a lawsuit, or adversary proceeding, in your bankruptcy case.
