debts are credit cards + 2 loans (car and other) i do not have a spending problem i had a nice job in the past so i got an apartment and furnished it completely and bought a car but the job wasn’t so steady and i ended up with all this debts piling up
Bankruptcy is no good sweety. You are 20 years old, you should go to credit consolidation and they will help you with credit cards. What do you bring in? What bills do you have? Let me know I can give you advice on it but bankruptcy is not the answer. 30k isn’t worth bankruptcy.

Credit Cards:
July 17th, 2010 at 11:49 amDestroy them and spend money when you have it.
All the interest you end up paying when you can not fully pay your bill at the end of the month will sponge up money you could have used on something else.
The only way to use credit cards to your budgets advantage is to use your credit card when YOU HAVE money in your bank account which will enable you to fully pay your bill when you receive it. If everyone would do that, credit companies would go bankrupt cause they would make no money off people’s back.
well it depends on what kind of debt you have. if it’s credit cards you may only be able to file ch13 which really doesn’t help much. i suggest that you get all of your bills together and look for an attorney who does free consultations for bankruptcy. i would also look into consumer debt help organizations in your area.
