How many thousands ? Anyway I filed Chapter 7 with $154,000 in credit card debt so don’t feel too sorry for yourself. It is not a death sentence. I would talk to a bankruptcy lawyer. You have to be very careful because after your bankruptcy is discharged, auto companies will want you to take loans out for cars, etc but turn them all down. Learn to live without borrowing anything and learn to save money. It will work out. Do not be embarrassed about it. File Chapter 7 if at all possible. Do not file Chapter 13 if you can help it. The lawyer will work out the fee payment with you. Believe me its worth it. Email me if you need more help or support.
February 10th, 2010 at 7:05 am$1200 in lawyer fees maybe. You don’t need a lawyer to file for bankruptcy. You can do it on your own without one. You can learn more at { http://www.legalformsbank.biz/bankruptcy.asp }.
