I havent paid on my credit cards in over a year?
Due to loss of both mine and my husbands jobs (at the same time), I havent paid anything credit related in over a year and a half. I had to go down to just paying the necessary bills(rent, electric, etc). Both my brand new cars were repo’d and sold as well and all the cc’s have been written off or sold by the creditors. My question is, now we are back on our feet, both working, etc. How do we go about fixing out credit?? Should we bankrupt just to get rid of the debt or should we try something else?
Also, our goal is to purchase a house in about 2-2.5 years. So i want to do whatever is best to achieve that. Thanks!
