I am a 64 year old widowed man ,who is in need of a major back operation to be able work,walk,stand etc.for the past six years .Ive seen many doctors and the operations they say I need I dont have the co-pay money even with insurance throw the state I have throw my deceased school teacher wife.(Ive been self emp for years ,and cant keep up,IVE SPENT THE EQ LOAN ON MY house just to stay going ,credit cards are max out and have no way to pay all this,im screwed! anyway I go ,so should file bankruptcy or just let thing go ????? into forclosers and charge offs,my previous good credit will be ruined either way but whats the better way for my further if there is any hope after this ??? I really need some helpfull advise. please !!!!!!!!

I work for a company that’s a not-for-profit medical provider (any "profit" at the end of the year gets divided up and paid to the doctors as "bonuses" so the balance is always zero).
I’ve never had any Security Security tax withheld from my paycheck, nor paid by my employer. When I asked why, they said it was because they were non-profit.
My worry is that this might affect how much Social Security income I’m entitled to when I retire (please save the jokes about SS going bankrupt before I can collect…)
So, is what they’re doing legal? If not, what should I do? (My big concern is that, if it’s reported, SS will demand all the employees to immediately pay up tens-of-thousands of dollars in owed back taxes!)

Are state hospitals the only alternative I have without ins. I have a really bad ankle sprain and I am in an emergency situation. I am the sole money maker in my Family. I support two children a wife and her mother I am a carpenter. 2 1/2 months ago I rolled my ankle. I cant walk yet alone work but I continue to work even if it is with a limp but now I am starting to have pain throughout my whole leg. I am a tough guy and I have always "played through my injuries". I can handle the loss of my home or even to file bankruptcy. The thing that kills me is the look on my families face. I can’t play with the kids, take them on the hikes to the mountains or anything for that mater. I just want to walk again. Are there any Doctors out there that can help a man like me I Know there is something seriously wrong with my ankle, and I need help desperately! I am in Long beach Ca. please someone have an answer? Yet these people rake in millions per year…to do what? deny claims, raise the rates and tell the doctors who they can or not treat?

These companies are paying big bucks to put out ads all against any reform and tell us how bad it will be…no wonder they are worried look at the money they will lose if another insurance company is allowed to move into their states..or the dreaded ‘gov

Thoughts? Should some anger in the country be directed to them for a change…why such high wages…and this is the top ones,,, then there are the fees..charged on top of each and every bill sent to them

No wonder we are in this mess? They are as bad as any bank ceo
but remember we are talking about health care ..aren’t we

I just want know of a good bankruptcy lawyer in NJ. My brother through out last year has been dawning in credit card/.medical debt. The medical debt is due to my nephew, who was born not so healthy and had to get many surgeries and so much attention from different doctors at Children s hospital of Philadelphia (CHOPS). As of right now he is not delinquent on any credit cards, but I fear that soon he will. I am just trying to fine options for my brother. What can be his best alternative.
