if i file bankruptcy will it effect my wife?

My wife and I are married for 5 years now, but she is in the process of getting her green card. If i file bankruptcy will this effect the process of her paper work for her green card? We only have one bank account together, every thing else is seperate.

If I file for Chapter 7 will that effect my wifes immigration process to obtain her green card?

We haven’t submitted her papers in yet for her to get her green card. We are sort of in a financial bind, but I don’t want chapter 7 to effect her case.
