If you have property and file bankruptcy, does it show on your credit foreclosure and bankruptcy?

Doe it show foreclosure and bankruptcy or just a discharge of your mortgage debt??? If so then what’s the use of filing bankruptcy. why not just walk a way from you properties.

What happens to my foreclosed mortgage debt if I switch from Chapter 13 to Chapter 7 bankruptcy?

In Jan. 2008 I filed Ch. 13 in a frantic attempt to keep my home. In the end, I ended up losing the property due to raising ARMs. I am still in the Ch. 13 and am wondering if I couldn’t switch to a Ch.7 instead? If I do switch to a chapter 7 can my mortgage debt be included in the Chapter 7 or can they go after the co-signor at that point?

I need to knwo some alternatives to bankruptcy. I am way in credit card debt, and need some help.?

Due to 2 divorces, and 2 surgeries that weren’t covered by insurance, I am about ,000 in debt to credit cards, , 000 in student loans, and that doesn’t even count my mortgage debt. I am in need of major financial help, but I don’t want to file bankruptcy? Just wondering what other alternatives are out there.

What is a low cost way to file bankruptcy?

I live in Michigan and need to file bankruptcy. However, even doing that costs money that I really don't have. I know that I can file it myself and save on lawyer fees, but I don't know how hard the paperwork is to do.

I don't own any real property, nor do I have any mortgage debt. I currently do not have any income – I'm going to school. Mostly its credit card and various other stuff thats almost 5-8 years old now.

Has anyone done this before? And how difficult was it?

Or if I should pay to have it done, does anyone know of a low cost way to go?

Thanks ahead of time!
The debt amount is around ,000
