If I owe some debt in the UK and fly into a UK airport, will I be prevented entry and will they ask to pay up?
As a student, I incurred some credit card debt and some overdrafts that I could not afford to pay back. I left the UK in 2001 and may need to enter the UK for a business visit soon. Will I be stopped at Immigration and prevented entry? Will I be required to settle all the debts at that point? I am not a UK citizen.
