I filed bankruptcy this week and its been about 6 week that they been taking money out of my check 25 % which is around 100bucks a week . Is it possible to get the garnished money back? I live in the state of california. Does anyone know the laws or rules for this? or how do i go about on getting that money back

My husband filed chapter 13 bankruptcy last year and I did not. I am attempting to settle with my creditors as my debt was only a fraction of his. In the event I can not settle or make adequate payment arrangements with my creditors and they sue me and get a judgement can they garnish my husbands wages or seize our joint bank accounts. In other words…what can they do to try and get the money? Btw I am currently unemployed and in the state of California.
My husband has a ,000 hospital bill and in the state of California, the spouse is also responsible to foot the bill. So now, we have a court ordered judgment against us. Since our house is now in foreclosure I was planning on filing bankruptcy anyways. Will filing bankruptcy stop this court ordered judgment? If not, can they garnish my wages? -note, My husband lost his job and I am the sole provider for a family of 4

any one know how to file bankruptcy by yourself in the state of california exempting your Workman’s comp settlement coming into you on your own since you cant afford to pay thousand dollars for them to do it for you i really don’t want my money garnished and i don’t want my settlement taken away from me what do i do some one please help me
