Okay, this is extremely frustrating. I’m a 19 year old student, who works part time. I have all-state insurance full coverage, and I drive a 2001 toyota tacoma, which is paid off. And guess how much Allstate charges me every 6 months? 0!!!!!!!!!!!! That is absolutely ridiculous. These son of a bitches are totally ridiculous charging me that. I’ve never had a ticket, never been in an accident. And I don’t care if i’m 19 that price is absolutely absurd for that car. I’m almost at the point where I just wanna go illegal and drive without insurance. I’m looking sleep every night over this I mean seriously do they think a 19 year old college student is made of money. And the funny thing is it’s under my parents policy and its this much!!!

I am not sure why Toyota is handling the foot pedal recall like this.
I’ve had Audi and GM, and it was never about hyping up and advertising the problem exist, never mind apologies from the CEO.

In my area the CEP of Toyota has taken out a full page ad on the NY times asking Toyota owners from 2001 to present to come in for a replacement pedal as well as paying for prime time air on the radio to personally apologize.

Do they want to go bankrupt? This is not how a corporation should handle a mistake?

In September of 2007 my husband and I bought a toyota celica from a local dealership. We had just purchased our home in August and we didn’t give our credit enough time to go up. Our interest rate was 18.6% and we were told my husband, being in the service, would qualify for the soldiers and saliors act. The dealer knew damn well my husband wouldn’t. The car was reposessed and now we’re stuck with the debt of the vechile for ,941.00 and were told they would settle for 00. Another guy at the toyota dealership agrees that we purchased the car under false pretenses and said if we had to go to court he would testify saying the other salesman was notorious for doing that and say that is what happened. Do you think we should settle or go to court over it. (This was our first car buying experience so no lectures on how we should have gotten stuff in writting)
