How can I settle a very old debt when I don't know what collection agency holds it?
About 13 years ago I incurred a debt with a university. I need to take care of it so they’ll release my transcriptions. The only information they have about the debt is the amount and the agency who originally held the debt. This agency is now defunct. What do I do if it’s no longer on my credit report?
